ROSE DE GRASSE

It is the queen of Roses, the most precious of all, also named Rose of May. It  is indeed harvested in May on the hills of Grasse. It is collected by hands at the first rays of sun, which rises early morning. The Rose de Grasse is distilled right away in the afternoon, because it keeps its refined, delicate perfume only for a few hours, which originates from its location between sea and mountains. The Rose de May is exclusively cultivated in Grasse and fields are no more than 50 hectares in Grass anymore. It is almost exclusively used for the High Perfumery.

NATURA SIBERICA buys hydrolat of Rose de May from Grasse producer. Hydrolat results from the 1st distillation f rose petals. The Rose hydrolat abounds in vitamins A, C and E as well as essential fatty acids.
